Internet Millionaire Incubator 2007 by Jo Han Mok and Matt Bacak
Can you imagine spending another 2 more solid days at Jo Han Mok and Matt Bacak Internet Millionaire Incubator seminar at the Le Méridien Singapore after attending the 4 days of World Internet Mega Summit(WIS) at the Singapore Expo by the other 6 internet marketing gurus. Well, it was mind blowing. I will need another 5 days break from the computer to sort out all the information and lessons I learned during the past week.
Ok, before I go for my 5-day break, I will do a quick summary on the Internet Millionaire Incubator seminar.
Generally, the program and package offered in the Internet Millionaire Incubator seminar were significantly lower than WIS.
Many of the programs are suitable for newbies and really really value for money. The programs that I liked were Keith Wellman’s “Extreme Business System”, Warren Whitelock’s “Expert System Coaching Program” and James Allen’s “Your Complete Niche Content Site System”. And the total cost would be less than SGD5,600.
I met up with people too. Several of them were at the WIS just three days before. These people must be very seriously about internet marketing, otherwise they wouldn’t have spent 6 days including 2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays listening and learning from these internet marketing experts.
I also met an interesting young man. His name is Benjamin(www.ben-tan.sg)

Benjamin came up to my seat, holding a piece of paper and ask me for my contact. Wow! I wish I could network like him - just walk up to people and said, “Hi, my name is Benjamin. Would you like to be in this mailing list that I am compiling?” He may just be the next Internet Marketing Millionaire!

Hi Matt,
I am surprised to see your comment here. Thanks for stopping by.
Your presentation was amazing. The one very important thing I learned the concept of using the internet to get reach out to the market, get customers fast and then bring them offline.
I will love to attend your event again in November!

Wa. Still post my picture on your blog. But hey: I’ll appreciate any free back-links that I can get anytime
Anyway, I really hope that we can really rally and support each other. The last workshop I went to, we did a similar thing, getting contacts and stuff. The initial post-seminar hype lasted approximately a week. Thereafter, more than half of the people gave up trying after failing to see results, and became inactive. The contact group slowly died a natural death.
Hope this won’t happen to us, and we can help each other out unconditionally and learn and share from each other.

Glad to meet up with you at the seminar too!
I’ve learnt a lot from the sessions as well and yes Matt, if you are coming back in November, I would definitely attend again.
Hi Ben
It was a great initiative on your part to compile the list. Thanks!
Internet marketing is a journey … not easy … but can be fun and enjoyable.
Have our goals before us, know our “Why?”, then press on and “Just Do It”!
I blogged on Matt’s 9 Common Characteristics of an Internet Millionaire here: http://abundancelaw.com/internet-marketing/9-common-characteristics-of-an-internet-millionaire/

Hi Ben,
It is natural that most people become “inactive” after the initial hype. We are “so busy” with work and family.
Just keep doing it and you’ll find the way to get people together. Spend more time on those people that you really can work with. Form your own mastermind group - typically about 5 persons in a group. In order to do that you need to know the people in the support group personally.

No problem. You have great info on your page. I love it!
Ben - There are three different type of people in the world. Thinkers, talkers and walkers. Thinkers - think about it. Talkers - talk about it. Walkers - do it. Stand with the walkers and don’t waste your time with the others.
You ROCK!
Matt

Hi Tiat Leong,
It’s been a long time since we last met. I am looking forward to work with you on promoting the SEO Workshop programme.

Hi Matt,
I like the thinker, talker and walker analogy. Maybe, we Singaporeans think too much, talk too little, work too hard and very risk averse lah!

I got to speak to Ben but dont think have a chance to meet you Heng Cheong.
Due to the ease of setting up, there is a sprouting of blog sites.
Should there be a concern for what has been posted by visitors to the blog site in terms of the content people may “dump” onto your blog ?
Do you have to do site admin daily to ensure no undesirable / sensitive / offensive content are being posted on you blog ?
I also notice that most blogs do not have any disclaimer clause,
(its a bit ks) but isn’ it wise to include a disclaimer ?

Nice blog. It’s good to see Matt Bacak commenting here.
Shi you are right, most people will lose their momemtum after a short while. This networking group we are forming could be the answer to keeping the “Power Of Momemtum”.
Like what Matt says “Success Is A Team Sport”. We got to work together.

Hi everybody, i am a newbie and i hope all of you do not mind my tagging along.
For what’s it worth, the future is the internet and with so many interested It would be a real shame if we do not work hard to make it.
I agree fully with Dex, we have to, through thick and thin.

Hi Benny Aw,
Blog comment spam is a serious problem. Yes, you need to do housekeeping and filter out undesirable content. With Wordpress, 90% of the spam are filtered out. So, not too difficult to manage. And I think it is a good problem to have - ‘cos the number of spams also reflect the number of real people who visited and read my blog.
Disclaimer? Why not. Put it up by all mean. Thanks for the advice.
For me, as of now, I don’t bother yet. This blog is about me and my work on internet marketing, particularly search marketing and search engine optimization.

Hi Dex,
Yes, momemtum may be crucial but the not the real driving force for success in internet marketing business or any business.
Internet marketing is not for everyone.
Not all those who attend internet marketing seminar and conference will eventually be successful. Only a handful people will take the right action and persist on.
So let’s work with the “walkers”.

Hi John,
I am a newbie too - always learning new things about the internet.
This Internet marketing business is still relatively new. There are a lot more money to be made and a lot more internet millionaires in the making.
We are really fortunate to be able to attend all these seminars and conferences by experienced Internet market gurus from all over the world.
June 11th, 2007 at 1:59 pm
Hey guys,
I hate to disagree with you guys but I was profitable before attending a single seminar! Neither did I buy HUGE home study courses. I did spend on some ebooks, software, outsourcing, pay per click, etc.
http://www.theultimatepublishing.com/blog/why-most-people-fail-to-make-money-online (Shi, I didn’t get to meet you there but I met Jolly, Richard Quek & many others.)
If you want to learn from gurus, don’t take everything they teach as gold, test as you go along.
Many times you’ll be surprised that you’ll make more money doing the opposite as what they teach than following exactly what they say. That happened to me.
There are those that teach (gurus) & those that do (real marketers), go spy on those that do across a few different markets online, you’ll be surprised at what you can discover.
(Shi, thanks for dropping a comment on my blog.)

Hi Samuel,
Thank you for stopping by this blog post.
Methink you’ve got a point there. Most of the internet marketing gurus at these big seminars and conferences were already making money with the internet before they attended any single seminar. Anyway, there was no seminar in the early days.
However, I honestly think that it is valuable to get the right mentor to coach me to move closer to my objective. And the right mentor can be found anywhere, not just at internet marketing seminars and conferences.

I just sign up with stephen pierce program a couple of months back. Still polishing up my internet skills but i must say that there is nothing short of hard work. There is really not much secret to online marketing but sheer hardwork…keep marketing until you see a breakthru in the results.

Hi guys,
I like Matt’s saying “Thinkers, talkers and walkers”, along the same line, there are another 3 types of people:-
Type 1 : They make things happen;
Type 2 : They see things happened;
Type 3 : They ask “What happened?”.
So, which type of person you want to be?
Lastly, NEVER NEVER NEVER Give Up!!!!!
You never know how close you are to the breakthrough.
Keep pressing on, and you will make it…. one day.

Mr. Shi even have to skype me to help put more comments on his post! Either he wants me to keep his site busy or I think too much and work too hard. Great to see all of you guys converging right here.

Hi Nelson,
You were at the WIS and I would like to have your opinion.
June 15th, 2007 at 2:36 pm
I wish I’d known about these workshops! Shi’s techniques have made a huge difference to the number of visitors to my site, and this has translated into a major source of calls and clients for my business. Thanks to Shi, my website has gone from online brochure to my main method of marketing. It’s the best part is the clients that come after researching online tend to be ready to start treatment. Love it!
