Matt Cutts the Alan Greenspan of SEO
Apparently, every SEO practitioner monitors Matt Cutts blog. And when he said something on SEO at his personal blog — everyone listened… and commented. Look at his recent post on paid links! In less than 10 days, he’d gotten more than 500 comments and trackback.
What he said sent reverberation throughout the webmaster and SEO community.
Beside the face value of his statements, people were reading between the lines and prophetized what Google will be going to its algorithm in the near future.
All these reading the lines guessing reminded me of what it used to be like in the stock market when Alan Greenspan was the Federal Reserve Board Chairman.
